Dachshund

The Dachshund is a short-legged, elongated dog breed of the hound family, originating in Germany where they are commonly called Dackel or Teckel. The literal translation of their name means badger dog.

Dachshunds are playful, fun dogs, but many are also strong-headed or stubborn, making them a challenge to train. Dachshunds are known for their devotion and loyalty to their owners, though they can be standoffish towards strangers.
